Unfortunately I wasn’t there to be able to provide a blow by blow description, but it sounds like most people had a good day out at Moore Park despite the Gladdies racking up an honourable loss in 9ths. Batting first we didn’t exactly set the world on fire, and things were looking pretty shaky at 8/106, but an exceptional last man effort from Rob lifted us to a vaguely defendable 144, with Rob scoring literally half our runs for a new personal best.
Just about everyone had a go with the ball, but it seems wickets weren’t that easy to come by, with 5 shared around over the 30 odd overs it took West Ryde to grind out a win.
