We received a forfeit from our opponents for this game. They only had five players due to injuries suffered in the game they are currently playing.
I’m sure Marky joins me in thanking all of you who were happy to reschedule to this fixture and then followed the fixture to the new venue. Sorry we’re not playing and sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment of not playing. Rebels were profusely apologetic for what it’s worth.
We are now in the Life Members’ Shield final at least… After waiting so long to get a game, and having to shift times and venues, it’s pretty shit to have got a forfeit at that late notice. But I guess that just gives us more incentive to win the Grand Final.
